Hello, dog lovers. I’m a senior with over 70 years of living experience and I’ve grown up with and raise quite a few dogs during my life time. For most of my early life all of our pets, dogs and cats, were always fed table scraps. When I grew up, got married and started raising my own family, for convenience, we began feeding our pets dry dog from our local supermarket. During the early years, our family lived mostly in rural communities or on small farms and our dogs tended to be larger breeds that lived mostly outdoors and roamed freely. When our children reached school age we moved into more confining urban settings. In 1988, nearly 30 years ago, we moved to Merritt, a small city in British Columbia, that actually had a vet. Since then our dogs have always been confined to a fenced in back yard.

NOTE: If you are unable to perform the Great Dog Poop Experiment you only need to look at the pet food ingredient list. If the list contain any corn, wheat, oats, (or any other commercial grains or grain products) or it contains potato or soy products… then your pet’s poop would FAIL the Dog Poop Experiment. Read the article below so you can understand why dog poop kills the grass and why your pet’s health is in serious danger.

We brought two poodles with us when we moved to Merritt. Freddy, was a mid sized white poodle 8 years old and Ben was Freddy’s son, a cross poodle puppy less than a year old.

When Freddy died of old age in 2000, he’d passed his 20th birthday. Ben died in 2004 at a respectable age of 17 years old. Neither of these dogs visited the local vet and they were both fed dry dog food of mid range quality.
Peppi
After Freddy past away in 2000 we acquired a new white miniature poodle puppy named Peppi. He was born in 2000 and he came to live with us in 2001. Peppi died Sept 2010
Bear
Then after Ben died in 2004 we were given a 4 year old black poodle cross named Bear, also born in 2000.  Bear died June 2010
Peppi and Bear both died within months of each other after suffering a short painful illness. At the time, we never realized either dog was sick until they had difficulty walking and began excreting bloody stool. Both dogs were independently diagnosed with diabetes, complicated by liver and kidney failure and had to be euthanized. When Peppi and Bear died young and in such a short span of time we were devastated. Looking for a cause, the only thing I could think of was that they both had been vaccinated (we’d never vaccinated any of our other dogs and none had died in such a painful way).

Today - The Happy Ending Bruno is now 6 years old. His general health shows a marked improvement and his dark reddish brown coat has returned to it’s former color. BTW: Bruno’s stool no longer kills the grass :-)

A New Puppy

Bruno
Bruno was born in the United States in May of 2010 and made his way to our home in Merritt in October 2010
2 Years Ago Brown coat turning grey In 2014, We noticed Bruno’s general health deteriorating and his beautiful brown coat was starting to turn grey. He was only 4 years old and we were worried that he may suffer and die like Peppi and Bear had.

It is a common practice to clean up after our dogs in the back yard every day or two, so I can mow the lawn without stepping in doo-doo. Today, as I recall the past, it seems that it was somewhere around the year 2000 when I first noticed that our dog’s feces started killing the grass. I can distinctly remembering wondering what might be the cause. We were using the same dry dog food we’d been using for years so I never imagined that it might be the food. At the time. the dead grass was just a curiosity without an answer. Then two years ago, in June of 2014, I was Googling for something to help my wife recover from a serious illness. During my search I stumbled upon a trove of obscure scientific research identifying the root cause for most types of chronic life style diseases. Diseases that include autism, cancer, autoimmune diseases like MS, Type 2 diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, liver and kidney failure, Alzheimer,s disease, obesity etc. This classified research showed that over 98% of the food we eat every day is contaminated by a chemical named Glyphosate (which is the base ingredient for Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide). It turns out that Roundup is not only applied to Roundup ready GMO crops such as corn, soy and sugar beets, but it is also applied to all commercial grain crops such as wheat, oats, barley etc. and it’s even applied to commercial potato crops. It was shocking to discover how wide spread the use of Glyphosate is and how few people are aware that it even exists. Most people are aware of the herbicide Roundup and that it is used to kill weeds. But few people know about Glyphosate (the main ingredient of Roundup), or how it works or what it does… because it is never shown on the ingredient list of the food we eat. Most people are also unaware the glyphosate contaminated grain is the staple diet of most of the commercial meat we eat (including but not limited to chicken, hogs, beef and even fish). Which of course, brings us to why dog poop kills grass. Glyphosate, the main ingredient in Roundup, kills all living plants including grass. When our dogs or cats eat pet food containing glyphosate, their poop will kill the grass it falls on. Unfortunately, almost all pet food is contaminated by glyphosate. It’s in corn, wheat, oats, barley. It’s in sugar. It’s in soy and soy products. It’s even found in commercially grown potatoes… and, of course, glyphosate is also found in any meat used for pet foods because farm raised animals are fed these contaminated grains. In fact, the scientific evidence (hidden from the general public) is so overwhelming that the World Health Organization (WHO) has listed Glyphosate as a probable carcinogen. This prestigious UN agency wouldn’t take such a drastic step lightly. Monsanto has a very powerful lobby.

The Back Story

In the end, it turns out that our “Great Dog Poop Experiment”, is the only visual and physical evidence of Glyphosate contamination. If Glyphosate still retains enough power to kill the grass after passing through a pets gut think of the damage it does while its passing through their digestive system. When animals consumes glyphosate contaminated food, scientific studies shows that Glyphosate functions exactly like an antibiotic (anti-life). With every mouth full of contaminated food, glyphosate slowly destroys the animals healthy gut biome, and consequently, destroying the immune system as well. If you discovered your pet’s poop killed the grass it lay on, then you have been feeding your pet commercial pet food and you will find such things as corn, wheat, barley, potatoes, chicken, pork or beef as ingredients.

FINIS: People don’t normally drop their own feces on their lawns to see if it kills the grass, but if they did, you would recognized that Glyphosate not only contaminates the food you feed you pet, it also contaminated the food we all eat.. If you would like to know more about Glyphosate “The Devil’s Brew” visit our Health & Wellness Revolution web site.
To protect your pet from serious illness and death you need to stop feeding your pet Glyphosate contaminated food and start feeding it natural, organic food. You will also need to provide supplemental probiotics to help repair the damage done to your pets gut biome. Finding pet food that is not contaminated by Glyphosate is extremely difficult. Over the last couple of years we’ve been feeding our dog Bruno rice, hamburger and pumpkin with probiotic supplements.  It’s only recently that a few organic, grain free, choices have become available. Click on the images below for a sample of what’s available right now.
BTW: The Great Poop Experiment also applies to all animals that are fed grain products, including but not limited to, cats, rabbits, gerbils, chickens or pigs. So check your pet food for grain or potato ingredients.
